Snowdrop Chapel
Commissioned in 2001 by the 129 year old Dorcas Society for the Snowdrop Chapel in the Princess Royal Maternity unit at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The room set aside for the Chapel was a small, enclosed room. The design had to be traditional, but light and open in construction so that it helped to create a bright and peaceful atmosphere.
It has been said by staff at the hospital that the furniture contributes greatly to provide a peaceful, quiet place of prayer.
