Paisley Abbey
Commissioned by Paisley Abbey as a bequest from a member of the congregation.
Image 1. This image was taken from the Chancel, looking through the choir towards where the congregation would sit. The New Choir Stalls can be seen in position, at the front of each side where the choir sits.
Image 2. A close up of the New Choir Stall looking back towards the Chancel of the Abbey.
Image 3. The book rests in situ – a subsequent commission from Paisley Abbey was to provide song book rests to sit on to of the original choir stall.
Image 4.The book rests where you can see detail of the ‘Paisley Pattern’ freight work cut through each of the book rest up stands.

Testimonials
Hello Bruce, your work has been much admired. The switch box was a most admirable solution, beautifully made and looks like it has always been there. One would not know that the pews had been altered.
