'COPE' DINING SUITE FEAT TWO ARGYLE CHAIRS

This suite was my first Mackintosh dining suite and is a very popular choice for a Mackintosh Dining suite. The suite was named after my first customer who selected this combination of different Mackintosh pieces. It features a CRM Mains Street Table, two Argyle chairs and Medium Back Ingram chairs. When the suite is not in use, the Argyle Chairs can be set elsewhere in a room as feature sculptural pieces.
The use of the Medium Back Ingram chairs offers a classic Mackintosh design, but a practical chair for everyday use. The rectangular shaped table made in solid oak, has four ‘Heart’ shaped carvings, two carved on the long side rail. This Mains Street Table is a reproduction of the table that Mackintosh and his wife Margaret MacDonald use with a set of Argyle Chairs in the dining room of their marital home.

TestimonialS
You recently made me an Ingram high back chair which was for my wife’s 60th birthday. I would just like to say how pleased I am with it. Not only are we pleased with the chair, but we are both impressed with your skills as a craftsman. Once again thanks for a great job, and thanks for making her birthday so special.
