Canongate Kirk
This Communion Table was commissioned in the year 2000 by the congregation of the Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh, to commemorate the birth of Christ 2000 years ago.
The Table depicts several aspects of the church’s architecture; the hexagonal leg on the table reproduces the detail on the front of the choir stalls, the fret work in the centre of the front and back rail is taken from the tracery light behind the table.
A subsequent commission was for a tabletop lecturn to coincide with the marriage of the Queens granddaughter Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall at Canongate Kirk.

Testimonials
Hello Bruce, your work has been much admired. The switch box was a most admirable solution, beautifully made and looks like it has always been there. One would not know that the pews had been altered.
